In fact, preachings are provided to teach young children, adults, and all members of the temple, on how to adapt to a spiritual and humble lifestyle. These preachings are in reference to the original Swaminarayan Sampraday, a holy book written by lord Swaminarayan himself, that outlines rules for daily living to achieve an overall act of kindness and obtain good deeds. Shree Swaminarayan Agyan Upasana Satsang Mandal Canada Inc is founded by H.D.H.1008 Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj and H.D.H. 108 Shree Bhavi Acharya Shree Nrigendraprasadji Maharaj. Each biweekly religious event, which is sponsored by a devotee.
The Swaminarayan faith is represented by H.D.H.1008 Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj and H.D.H. 108 Shree Bhavi Acharya Shree Nrigendraprasadji Maharaj, a Pope. The presence of a Pope is required to install idols within the temple and perform religious speeches and prayers at events and ceremonies. The Pope is the descendent of Shree Laxminarayan Dev Gadi in Vadtal of the Original Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday. Within 30 years, Bhavi Acharya Shree has delivered over Eleven Thousand (11,000) preaches during various programs, and he is currently in the Golden Book of World Record for "The Most Number of Preaches." The Pope has specialized experience in many Hindu scriptures such as Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Vachanamrut, Satsangi Jeevan and many others scriptures. To keep our Hindu community engaged, there is an organization of camps that take place every three to six months. These camps are held at a temple or a location that can accommodate the majority of the community members. The camps are for people of all ages and the purpose is to benefit the community in various ways. At the camp, activities such as cultural education, team bonding exercises such as quizzes and games, arts and crafts, icebreakers, karaoke night, and motivational speeches take place. Through these activities, communication and leadership skills, self-esteem and unity among members is improved. Furthermore, the camp can be viewed as a social network that connects Hindus from all around the world as they come to participate and engage themselves in the activities taking place. Sport events and carnival activities are organized to celebrate religious holidays within the camps. This aids in the formation of unforgettable friendships among members. This is a form of a charitable event as it offers Red cross blood donation and motivational speakers to promote donation and awareness towards research of current/ upcoming disease in the population such as cancer. The overall mission of the camp is to provide the community with as many possible benefits within an amusing and spiritual atmosphere.
